This adult beverage brings on some serious nostalgia with its slurpee-like texture, but we promise you won’t mistake this luxe cocktail for the sugary treat of your childhood. Made with the hot wine-of-the-moment, rosé, this beverage is the epitome of summer—it’s fruity and flirty, light and easy, and most importantly, it looks as good as it tastes!
The Four Seasons team found inspiration for their Frosé while on a trip to Austin, Texas, at a local bar that serves up frozen wine concoctions. Of course, in order to bring the idea to fruition it had to meet Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara's high-end standards. And so was born the partnership with Beau Joie Champagne. A leader in the world of bubbly, Beau Joie provided their frosé-making machine and a decadent sparkling rosé, and just like that, the strawberry-infused cocktail was created. The sweetness of the strawberry simple syrup complements the fruity notes of the wine without being overpowering, yet it keeps the drink from tasting like alcohol—a must for daytime drinking. From the unique, icy texture to the luxurious addition of sparkling rosé (while most cocktails stick to flat varieties) and fresh bits of local strawberries, it’s bound to become the cocktail of the season.
The rich coral tone of the drink is convenient in keeping with the beach club’s color palette, making it ideal for both quenching your thirst, and a photo-op by the pool. The cocktail will be exclusively available at the Coral Cafe, which is open to club members and overnight guests of the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara, making it more coveted than a glass of Dom.
